2017 Big 12 Softball Championship Tickets Available

OKLAHOMA CITY – Today, the Big 12 Conference and Oklahoma City-All Sports announced that tickets for the2017 Big 12 Softball Championship are now on sale. The championship returns after a six-year sabbatical to its familiar home in Oklahoma City at ASA Hall of Fame Stadium Complex over the course of May 12 and 13.

“We are excited for the return of the Big 12 Softball Championship”, said All-Sports Executive Director, Tim Brassfield.“This event was an Oklahoma City staple at ASA Hall of Fame Stadium each and every year. It’s another great opportunity to see top-quality, collegiate softball in Oklahoma City and sure to be a fantastic championship event.”

Adult all-session tickets are priced at $25 while single-day tickets are $14. Student/youth tickets are $14 for all-session and $9 for daily admission. Group packages are also available at a rate of $9 per person for a daily pass when a minimum of 10 tickets are purchased.

The top six teams in the Big 12 Conference will compete for the chance for the first Big 12 Softball Championship title since 2010. The format will include pool play on Friday, May 12 with games starting at 11 a.m. CT and the final game of the day starting at 7:30 p.m. CT. Bracket play will occur on Saturday, May 13, with the championship game slated to begin at 4:30 p.m. CT.

Seven conference members sponsor the sport of softball - Baylor, Iowa State, Kansas, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas and Texas Tech. Oklahoma, the 2016 NCAA Softball National Champions, has claimed three national titles under the Big 12 flag (2016, ‘13, ‘00) and advanced to the Women’s College World Series five of the past six years.
