Over my two semesters I’ve worked with several events including the Winter Sooner State Games, the NCAA Women’s Basketball Regional, Big 12 Baseball and the Women’s College World Series. I’ve been given a diverse set of responsibilities from contacting potential sport directors for The State Games of Oklahoma to coordinating with Red Cross for relief efforts. Not only do interns assist in the office and with planning but we also get to interact hands on as event staff which gives opportunities both in the office and on site. The most important aspect of this internship for me is how educational it is. I never imagined I would learn so much in such a short amount of time.”
