Oklahoma City All Sports Association Announces Scholarship Winners

Oklahoma City, OK – Two $1,000 college scholarships were awarded on Tuesday by the Oklahoma City All Sports Association. The recipients were Mallory Maloy from Earlsboro High School and Jared Krittenbrink from El Reno High School. Mallory plans on attending Rose State College to major in Pre-Physical Therapy and Jared will be majoring in Engineering/Law at Oklahoma State University in the fall.

The selection of recipients was based on characteristics consistent with the mission of the All Sports Association. Student achievement in leadership, athletic participation, activities and academics was also considered. Applicants must have participated in high school athletics, but must not be receiving a scholarship for college athletics.

The All Sports Association exists to present quality, family oriented amateur sporting events which enhance quality of life and create a positive economic impact in the community. Some of the All Sports Association’s events include the O’Reilly All-College Basketball Classic, 2009 Phillips 66 Big 12 Men and Women’s Basketball Championships, Phillips 66 Big 12 Baseball Championship, 2009 NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Oklahoma City Regional, Sooner State Games and NCAA Women’s College World Series.
