The 75th Anniversary marks a special day that includes many famous names that have either played or coached in this memorable event.  Some famous players are Bill Russell, Pete Maravich, and Waymon Tisdale.  Many great coaches have also been apart of this tournament including Henry Iba, Eddie Sutton, and Billy Tubbs. The All-College Classic is rich in tradition and will be for years to come.

The 75th Annual Sonic All-College Basketball Classic, hosted by the Oklahoma City All Sports Association will feature the Oklahoma State University versus the Rolling Tide from Alabama University followed by the University of Oklahoma versus Cincinnati University on December 18. Both games will be televised on ESPN family networks.  This years tournament is a clash of three major conferences with something to prove.  The match ups are intriguing with the University of Oklahoma playing with a whole new line up and Oklahoma State losing their two best guards.  Both schools will have thier hands full with the SEC and the Big East as they roll into town mid December.

The Sonic All-College Basketball Classic is the world’s oldest basketball tournament, outdating even the NCAA, NIT, NAIA and the NBA tournaments. The All-College Basketball Classic has been exciting Oklahoma sports fans for years.Tickets for the tournament are priced at $67, $57, $42, $32, $22 and $12 (subject to change).

The classic will be accompanied by the return of the Basketball Adventure, which will take place in the Cox Business Services Convention Center.  This is an interactive free family basketball festival that will include food, entertainment, basketball clinics and more on December 18.

The All-College Players’ Dinner on December 17 will begin the classic.  This is a banquet held to honor the teams playing in the classic and their coaches.
