Oklahoma City All Sports Association
The Oklahoma City All Sports Association is a non-profit 501-C3 corporation who is proud to serve as the commission for the Oklahoma City metropolitan area. The organization is governed and directed by 43 non-compensated board members and managed by a seven-person staff. Originally created in 1957 to support and maintain the All-College Classic Basketball Tournament, All Sports has expanded its mission to more than 250 events in Oklahoma City, including 30 plus NCAA championships since 1983.
The mission of the Oklahoma City All Sports Association is to secure, promote, create, execute and host quality, family-oriented amateur sporting events in the state of Oklahoma.
Within the mission of the All Sports Association, we also have the State Games of Oklahoma, which act as Oklahoma's Olympics and the 5-7 Mission.
The 5-7 mission is not a new initiative of the All Sports, but rather a refocus of who we are as an organization. The All Sports Association is one of the oldest sports commissions in the country, with more than 50 plus years of great service to the Oklahoma City community. The 5-7 Mission is based on the Five Principles which encompass the Seven Attributes of our organization.
The 5
The Five Principles are the five aspects of the mission statement. Secure, Promote, Create, Execute and Host.
The 7
As the Five Principles are the foundation of who we are as an organization, the Seven Attributes are the results of our hard work. The seven are Tourism, Quality of Life, Ecomonic Impact, Confidence, Memories, Community Growth and a Healthy Active Lifestyle.
The Oklahoma City All Sports Association will continue to hold strong to the foundations and principals from the last 50 plus years and continue to bring amateur sports exellence to Oklahoma City.
